Ray Bradbury was born in 1920 in a small town in Illinois, USA. He later moved to Los Angeles, where in 1937 he began engaging with science fiction circles.
He was influenced by authors such as Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, Edgar Allan Poe, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Robert Louis Stevenson.
Ray Bradbury is considered one of the greatest writers of fantasy and speculative fiction, using a wide range of symbolic figures such as wizards, elves, vampires, zombies, robots, aliens, and more.
He wrote many books, the most notable being Fahrenheit 451 and Something Wicked This Way Comes, the latter of which is published in this series.
