He has published numerous photographic albums on the island of Tinos, including a panoramic landscape album of Tinos, Tinos of the ’50s & ’60s through the Lens of A. Oikonomou, and Tinos of Yesterday and Today, among others.

He has also authored the books Infrared Photography and Multimedia Applications: Soundscape, Image Projection.

He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Photographic Society. Since 1989, he has taught as a research associate at the Department of Photography and the Department of Conservation of Works of Art and Antiquities at the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies of the Athens TEI.

Published by Aiolos Editions is the album Makrinitsa through the Lens of Dimitris Letsios, which highlights the work of the Magnesian photographer and his depiction of his hometown Makrinitsa.
