In the world of the Dying Earth, as the sun lives out its last moments, the cunning Cugel finds himself once again in the far north through his own carelessness. Keeping the flame of vengeance alive for Iucounu the Laughing Magician, he decides to return to Almeria, this time by following the path of the sea.

Aiolos Publishers offers The Dying Earth Cycle, which includes The Dying Earth, The Eyes of the Overworld, Cugel’s Saga, and Rhialto the Marvellous.
He will travel on ships dragged by huge worms, he will visit the nymphomaniac women of the Isle of Lausicaa, he will travel on a flying ship whose passengers disappear one by one, he will encounter terrible wizards and horrible monsters, he will become an escort in a caravan carrying seventeen virgins, he will descend to the world of demons themselves and, as usual, he will meet people with the most unlikely customs and habits on his way. His only helpers in this odyssey are his cunning and skill – although these seem to get him into new and unlikely adventures most of the time.
Cugel’s Saga, the sequel to The Eyes of the Overworld, is a novel that fascinates and impresses and can be read in one sitting.
