He was born in 1946 and died in 2017. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at the Universities of Rome and Athens.
He was an excellent graduate with distinction, holding a PhD with honors from the Faculty of Law in Rome (1971) and from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (1973), along with numerous postgraduate diplomas specializing in the History of Law.

He was a Fulbright Scholar three times and served as Visiting Professor (in Common Law, Post-Byzantine Law, and at Diplomatic Academies) at several universities abroad. He published academic studies on Legal History at institutions such as the University of Rome, the Academy of Athens, the Lateran University, and Panteion University. His work has been translated into English, French, Spanish, and Russian.
He participated in numerous international conferences on Legal History and delivered lectures at Italian universities. He also organized radio and television programs on the Middle Ages.
In parallel, he was active in the visual arts and journalism. He founded and directed the Biennales of Todi, Florence, and the Mediterranean Engraving Biennale. He collaborated with RAI, YENED, and various private Italian broadcasters.
He was honored with a medal by Pope Paul VI (1976) and received numerous awards from Italian cities and cultural institutions, including Rome, Florence, Nemi, Sanremo, and organizations such as UNESCO, UNICEF, and others.
In 1993 and 1995 he was awarded for his contribution to the promotion of contemporary Greek art in Italy and worldwide. In 2000 he was honored by the city of Sanremo for the discovery of the Nobel Collection and for founding the Greek Nobel Museum.
He served as president and sponsor of the “Museum of the Greek Nobel Collection” (1998) and founded and directed its monthly publication The News of the Museum of the Greek Nobel Collection.
