JAMES
Peter James describes himself as a “general scientist” who studies the ancient Near East and the Eastern Mediterranean. He graduated in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Birmingham and completed postgraduate research in the Department of Ancient History at the University of London.
He has published numerous articles on ancient chronology, technology, and the history of science, in both academic and popular journals. He is the principal author of “Centuries of Darkness.” He has also written “The Sunken Kingdom”(1995), which was translated and published by AIOLOS under the title “Atlantis – The Sunken Kingdom,” and—together with Nick Thorpe—“Ancient Inventions” (1994) and “Ancient Mysteries” (1999).*
