On the eve of the 2004 Olympic Games, anything can happen.
A big-time lawyer with memory lapses visits Yannis Papas, a failed detective and former leftist, and asks him to follow him around the clock, giving him a daily report on where he goes, what he does, who he sees…
Giannis Papadopoulos was born in Volos in 1951.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and lives and works in his hometown as a notary.
His one-act plays have been staged by the Municipal Regional Theatre of Volos (DIPETHE Volos) as well as by various amateur theatre groups.
Giannis Papadopoulos has also published short stories in newspapers and magazines.
His books include Idols (Medousa, 1993), Without Motive (Kastaniotis, 1996), Hope (Exandas, 1999), Love (Exandas, 2001), Peace (Exandas, 2003), and Almost Noir (Aiolos, 2008).
Except that in the process, the detective and his anarchic philosopher assistant seem to be spying on themselves and the course they have followed thirty years after the revolution. Where will all this and many other equally incomprehensible and strange things lead?
