METAL INVADER magazine had a provocative idea for its readers: it announced a competition for a fantasy short story inspired, if possible, by ancient Greek mythology. Aeolos publications were challenged in their turn not to leave the idea in the realm of myth and fantasy but to implement it in a volume with the best short stories of those sent. The result exceeded all expectations. In abundance of quality and quantity, here we have short stories that surprise with a variety of style, fiction, and stimuli. That’s why it was very hard to select only eleven of the dozens of stories that were sent.
