Multiple World, a collection of fifteen short stories of fantasy and conventional literature, highlights, with more ambitious and mature compositions and unexpected twists, the familiar imaginary landscapes and the political, social and psychological mythologies of Dionysis Kalamvrezos.

His heroes, bound and trapped in the worlds they roam, are often nothing more than victims in a nightmarish maze game that they are condemned to play to the end by higher powers. Other times, however, they are the very creators or sources of the darkness in which they are lost, irresponsible and manipulated, compromised and self-negating, mired in fears, prejudice and obsessions. In both cases, even if the gray and bleak multiple world they inhabit is dominated by anxiety, confusion, ignorance, greed, violence and weakness, the game is not lost.
