FIRSTBORN – A TIME ODYSSEY #3

The Firstborn, the mysterious aliens who created Mir, a planet made up of the stitching together of different historical periods on Earth, and then tried to wipe out all life from the home planet by causing a terrible solar storm, are now back with an even greater threat: a device, which cannot be destroyed or prevented from acting by any human action, appears from the depths of space and heads for a fateful encounter with Earth.

Twenty-seven years after the solar storm, Bisesa Dutt, the only human who has lived on both Earth and Mir, unwittingly embarks on a new odyssey: via a space elevator, and then with the help of a solar-powered spaceship, she will reach Mars and from there return to Mir. There he will find Alexander the Great, now sixty years old, having dominated the whole of Europe and Asia, creating a vast empire through which the first steam trains are already running. It is also there that Bisesa will discover that Mir is equally in danger of total annihilation. The end seems inevitable. But as humanity begins to become more aware of the cold plans of the Firstborn that threaten it with extinction, an unexpected ally appears from distant space…
